  1. Good morning Jeremy, I listened to my first-ever MOS podcast. That led to me reading your article on Street Preaching. It is an excellent article, or maybe I should say it is brilliant. Bully! I have only one addition – the place of the church in the life and ministry of the street preacher. Not ever street preacher must be qualified to be a pastor or even capable of preaching in a pulpit. Would you agree that every street preacher should be sent (Rom. 10) by the church, which would mean he should be member of and be recognized by (in some sense) and be overseen by the church and its leaders?

    • Thank you, Bart. It may be that the comment above follows a reading of the first article, after which I received a similar comment/question, which prompted the second. There I try to make clear the very points you have raised, namely that the street preacher – insofar as he is doing something above and beyond the normal evangelistic testimony by the words of God’s people, borne out by their deeds – should be sent by and under the authority of the local church. I hope that the second article makes that plain.

  3. Only just saw your articles – I’ll try to read them soon and come back with a comment. Glad you go out and preach – I pray you don’t get arrested. But if you do I’ll be sure to applaud :-)
