  1. Out of curiousity, would your father happen to be the author of a biography on Benjamin Keach? I have not been able to find a copy anywhere.

    • Yes, my esteemed father is the author of the book. The publishers have, apparently, been making noises about a second edition, which would be a good thing, as the first lacked an index and was poorly proof-read, leading to a number of unhelpful typographical errors. That aside, the substance of the book is – in my humble opinion – first-class. In the continued absence of a second edition, first editions are getting hard to find. You should still be able to get one from this page at the Metropolitan Tabernacle bookshop; otherwise, it seems pretty hard to track down.

      • Hi Jeremy,
would you know when the 2nd edition would be available? I was hoping to get this book as a gift to a friend in July but I’m not sure if maybe it’s worth waiting for the 2nd edition…

        • Hello, Jade – I checked with Dad and he confirms that a second edition is anticipated this year, but not expected until the autumn (no guarantees, I am afraid). I hope that helps you make a decision.

        • Thank you Jeremy! I’ll have to review the book when I visit the Metropolitan Tabernacle and decide then. My friend (who is a baptist) likes to read biographies of reformers, but there are hardly any material on reformers that were actually about baptists during that period of time. When I heard that your Dad wrote about Keach, I’ve been seeking for a copy of his book and it seems the Metropolitan Tabernacle is the only place that has any copies….

  2. I was blessed to hear his lecture on Benjamin Keach at the 2008 Andrew Fuller Conference.

  3. Thanks for the link to Rabbi Duncan’s article! His name came up in a discussion recently – I’ll have to direct people this way :)
