1662 and all that
We learn from the Evangelical Library that
In this anniversary year of the Great Ejection of 1662 a special conference has been organised at the Evangelical Library to look at the subject. The conference will begin at 10 am and end at 4 pm. Dr Garry Williams of the John Owen Centre will speak on “1662 and its aftermath;” Gary Brady, the Library chairman will speak on “1662 and the men who were ejected;” and, after lunch (not provided though there will be hot drinks), Dr Robert Oliver will speak on “1689 and the toleration of dissent”. There will also be a panel discussion to round off the day. The conference is open to all who are sympathetic. The cost is £25 (£30 on the day). Send a cheque with your details to the Library.
Details are here. Do consider this if you have the opportunity: all three promise to be excellent addresses.
